Your first appointment allows Dr. Karapetian to learn more about you and evaluate your periodontal needs. We will review your dental and medical history and discuss any symptoms, concerns, or treatment goals you may have.
Depending on your individual needs, your visit may include a comprehensive evaluation of your teeth, gums, bite, and supporting structures. Existing dental records and diagnostic images may also be reviewed when available. Additional imaging or diagnostic information may be recommended when necessary to develop a complete understanding of your oral health.
After your evaluation, Dr. Karapetian will explain her findings and discuss appropriate treatment options. You will have an opportunity to ask questions so you can better understand any recommendations and what to expect moving forward.
Before any treatment, you will receive a treatment plan that will include a breakdown of all costs. Our Burke practice accepts major credit cards and cash, as well as dental and medical payment options, and we can arrange a payment plan that spreads your payments out over time. To help us provide the best service possible at an affordable cost, we ask that you pay for your treatment on the day of your appointment; however, we do accept plans from most dental insurance companies.
We accept financing through CareCredit and offer an in-house dental implant financing plan to meet your needs. CareCredit offers a full range of payment plans to suit a variety of budgets and make your dental implants affordable. With this plan, you’ll pay a monthly payment and pay off the balance in full within the allotted time.
At our practice, we do our best to help you understand how your dental insurance works and to make sure you are getting the most out of the benefits you have. We help you find out how to take advantage of your insurance and also how you may be able to save money by utilizing other strategies, like health savings accounts, alternative employee benefits, and tax strategies.
